Elements of Competency Performance Criteria              
Element: Support the offender's progress against established plans
  • Maintain support and contact with offenders in accordance with program agreements
       
Element: Check signs of progress or obstacles and review and adjust plans as required
       
Element: Consult stakeholders working with the offenders for information about progress and confirm with a range of sources
       
Element: Collaborate with colleagues to promote co-operation in the implementation of change
       
Element: Negotiate and provide support where progress and obstacles indicate a need
       
Element: Negotiate and implement agreed incentives and consequences as required
       
Element: Review outcomes of individual plans
  • Identify and match outcomes against the plans and the indicators of progress
       
Element: Provide effective and relevant feedback at progressive stages based on the achievement of personal goals and objectives agreed in plans
       
Element: Negotiate new or adjusted goals and timeframes and document plans to reflect new agreements

Assessment Tasks

Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.
